About the founder
Wan Fong has worked extensively at the intersection of public policy, supply chain traceability, and human rights due diligence for the past 10 years across Singapore and the United States.
Before founding Traceability, Wan Fong led international forced labor prevention and due diligence initiatives, specifically targeting systemic labor exploitation and trafficking of migrant workers within high-risk mining supply chains across Indonesia, Serbia, and Hungary. Her work focused on ground-truth verification, conducting intensive field investigations and direct worker interviews to uncover forced labor conditions. She collaborated with EU and US customs and trade authorities to mitigate these supply chain risks, enforce labor standards, and implement targeted remediation. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Universal Removal Defense Project in California, helping build nationwide, language-inclusive infrastructure for immigrants facing deportation.
Prior to her work in the non-profit and human rights sectors, Wan Fong spent nearly seven years as a policymaker within the Singapore Public Service. She took on multi-agency strategic initiatives spanning urban planning, infrastructure development, social and family services, and youth development.
She graduated with a B.A. in Politics, Psychology, and Sociology from the University of Cambridge, and an M.Ed in International Education Policy from Harvard University.
